THE FOLLOWING EMAIL IS TIME SENSITIVE AND HAS INFORMATION THAT REQUIRES URGENT DISTRIBUTION AS THE CHILD HAS BEEN GIVEN A DEADLINE OF SEPTEMBER 20, 2021 TO RECEIVE STEM CELL TRANSPLANT.
We hope this email finds you all well, with Swami's Divine grace and Blessings. We received an urgent request from our Sai members in Canada.
A young family member (4-year-old Esha) of one of our Canada Sai devotees, who lives in the UK, is in urgent need of a Stem Cell Transplant. Please see the attached PDF document for more information about Esha. Esha is just 4 years old and has been recently diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. Despite spending the last 15 weeks at Great Ormond Street Hospital (UK), the two intensive cycles of chemotherapy she has undergone has unfortunately been ineffective. She desperately needs to find a Stem Cell Donor by September 20, 2021, to save her life, according to her doctors.
Registering for the database is as simple as a cheek/mouth swab that takes seconds to complete. Patients often find a match from their own ethnic group and the South Asian population is very under-represented in the database. This makes it more challenging for South Asian patients to find a match when in need. Even if you are not from this ethnicity, your contribution is also very important. Any of us, if matched, can help save this young child.
