Sai Ram Dear Center Presidents,

 

As we embark on this sacred journey to Prasanthi Nilayam, the pilgrimage committee will be developing various activities to unite us and help facilitate our self-transformation.  One feature that will be sent out periodically is a short video compilation containing updates on the pilgrimage, features on sacred sites in and around the ashram with background stories related to those sites, as well as devotee sharing.

 

Please announce to your center that we are seeking contributions from devotees for a short video recording( up to 5 minutes) that we will add to various compilations and releases on our website and YouTube channel.  This will introduce us to many devotees around the zone who will inspire us all.

 

We are looking for submissions from a variety of devotees, including: 

  • SSSE children of all groups,
  • YA's,
  • senior devotees,
  • new devotees,
  • first time visitors to Prasanthi,
  • prior pilgrimage attendees,
  • longtime visitors to Prasanthi

Topics they can talk about can include one or more of the following:

  • What they are most looking forward to during this pilgrimage
  • What sadhana program activities they are undertaking
  • Their experience with a prior pilgrimage
  • Special moments, insights, or lessons learned from prior visits to Prasanthi

Recording Tips

  • Use a smart phone or computer
    • use horizontal orientation when recording
    • keep device steady
    • Check lighting so your face is facing the light
    • Avoid empty rooms or halls to minimize echo, if outside cover microphone to reduce wind noise
  • Wear center appropriate attire
  • Smile and know Swami is lovingly listening!

Submission

  • Center president or designee will upload the video at the designated location : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cOLOsWsCyOWyjfhF0Ln6gviXLkpo06yA?usp=sharing
  • Video file naming convention to be followed: <Country-Center Name-Submitter Name-Video title> . For example, Center name e.g Loudoun instead of Sathya Sai Center of Loudoun. For Country name, please use the following USA, CAN, WI
  • Along with the video file, in a word document, kindly upload a brief summary of the video in about 5 to 10 lines along with the Video title, Center Name, Country/City, and submitters name) at the same location as the video file is uploaded. The document name to be the same as the video name
  • Center president or designee will send an email about the submission to the National President and the media team (admin@sssgc-usa.org)
  • For questions, contact the National President or the media team at admin@sssgc-usa.org
