Humble Salutations at the lotus feet of Swami.
Happy Swami's Aaradhana Day to all of you.
After consultation with the National, Zonal leadership and with our Regional Medical Director and further, based on our Regional Committee consultation in the weekly meeting, we have decided to go ahead with the Option 1 (please see the previous email below)which is a full "In Person" Retreat with up to 500 People at the site. As mentioned before, we will have live streaming of the key events for those who would like to participate remotely.
We will continuously evaluate the Covid Situation every week going forward till the retreat starting date.
Here is additional information that we used to arrive at the above decision: Local covid guidelines for events and meetings--> No Restrictions on the number of people gathering.
Covid Community Levels as per CDC guidelines for the Middlesex county of the Retreat Location is very low.https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/science/community-levels.html?msclkid=d30daa72bb3811ec9a9b58643bf44a3c
We will send the following message to every registrant:
Safety Message with Disclaimer
With the boundless Grace of Bhagawan, we are able to gather together once again at this sacred retreat to serve, worship and learn together. It is important that we pay attention to the discipline and sacrifice required for a safe and healthy celebration. Each participant should be aware that travel and gathering together during the weekend will pose potential risks to transmit or be infected by COVID.
The organizers have followed all state and county guidelines for distance and density requirements. Hand sanitizers will be made available at the entrance of all meeting halls and rooms. Masks should be brought by each attendee and should be worn as much as possible.
If you or your companions have underlying health factors such as heart disease, cancer, major organ disease or a comprised immune system, you may wish to avoid attending the event without taking extra precautions and the advice of your physician. Those that are not vaccinated pose a higher risk and are encouraged to stay home.
Safety Checklist for attendees:
☐ Starting now and leading up to the retreat, be cautious with regards to exposure by wearing a mask when going out and minimizing exposure to others
☐ Anyone with a fever—or who has had other symptoms or knows they have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the week prior to the retreat —should stay home.
☐ In addition to a full series of mandatory vaccinations, a booster shot is highly recommended
☐ You should bring several N95 or KN95 masks and use throughout your travels and during the entire event.
☐ Bring several rapid COVID test kits to test yourself in case you develop symptoms
☐ Remember to bring your regular prescription medication.
