Sairam Dear All,
As a gentle reminder, all Region 1 Sai centers will be taking part in the Regional Service Activity Food Bank Seva this September on occasion of National Food Bank month. If you haven't already done so, please quickly identify your local food banks to participate. Let's eagerly partake and get good participation from all members and engage community members if possible! This regional service activity is being conducted in the spirit of unity, inspiration and love as an offering to our Dear Swami from all of us. 

Please kindly also capture pictures of this service activity so that we can highlight the Regional Service Activity from all Region 1 Sai centers (Norwalk, Rochester, Scarborough, Scarsdale, Shelton, Syracuse). Thank you so much for your loving service!

Loving Sairams! Hope all is well. 


I wanted to know your thoughts on having a Regional Service Day in which all centers in our Region 1 participate in a similar Seva activity to bring forth a sense of unity amongst all. One idea is Friday, September 1st which is actually National Food Bank Day since hunger is still a continuing problem affecting millions of people who are in poverty. It is about 6 weeks away but you can take this time to research into various food banks that you currently participate with or look into potential new ones to donate needed items. 


Let's also try to implement SSSPAVE initiatives to share Swami's teachings/universal quotes into the greater community by collaborating with additional organizations along with our SSSGC Sai centers. For example, join hand in hand perhaps with local ethnic organizations like Indian Community, Faith based organizations like Hindu Temples, churches, and other non profit org to bring a greater awareness of human values if possible.
