| As the spirit of 2026 New Year and in continuation of Swami's Centenary Birthday Year celebrations are in air, 50th State Conference and Sri Sathya Sai Paduka Yatra Culmination | Bali Yatra Grounds, Cuttack | Jan 18, 2026 The 50th State Conference of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Odisha, held in conjunction with the State-level Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and the grand culmination of the Sri Sathya Sai Divya Paduka Yatra, emerged as a historic and spiritually momentous occasion on January 18, 2026, at the iconic Bali Yatra Grounds, Cuttack. More than a mere congregation, the event unfolded as a collective offering of gratitude and love, marking the culmination of a three-and-a-half-year-long Divine journey that touched the heart of Odisha. Since their sacred departure on Aradhana Day 2022, and the formal commencement of the Yatra on Gurupornima 2022, Swami's Divya Padukas traversed over 45,000 kilometres, blessing 10,000+ villages, homes, and hearts—making His omnipresence a living experience for devotees across the State. The historic Bali Yatra Grounds, spread across 25 acres along the banks of the Mahanadi, resonated with devotion as over 40,000 Sai devotees gathered from every corner of Odisha. Their arrival—by hundreds of buses, thousands of vehicles, trains, and public transport—stood as a silent yet powerful testimony to the magnetic pull of Swami's Name. The atmosphere reached a spiritual crescendo as the Divya Padukas entered the grand pandal in a majestic procession. Accompanied by Vedic chanting, soul-stirring bhajans, Odia folk traditions, and rural dance forms, the procession beautifully mirrored Odisha's rich cultural ethos woven with devotion. The program was graced by Mr RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee - SSSCT), Mr Nimish Pandya (All India President), along with National Coordinators and other dignitaries. In his inspiring address, Mr Rathnakar elucidated Swami's philosophy and His eternal message to humanity, underscoring the pivotal role of SSSO in fostering brotherhood and universal love. The inspiring messages from other dignitaries reaffirmed Swami's eternal teachings of love, unity, and selfless service. The occasion was further enriched by meaningful service initiatives, including the virtual inauguration of the 50th Drinking Water Project, distribution of 100 sewing machines under the Sai Swabalambi Seva, and artificial limbs to 50 beneficiaries under Divyangjan Seva, all reflecting Swami's compassion translated into action. The formation of nine new Samitis, marked by the presentation of Prasanthi Flags and the offering of Divya Padukas to over 230 Samithis that successfully conducted the Yatra, stood as enduring symbols of collective devotion and discipline. Cultural offerings by Sai school students and Bal Vikas children, spanning over two hours, enthralled the gathering with performances infused with devotion, values, and artistic excellence. A deeply touching highlight was the remembrance of Swami's divine assurance, given six decades ago, that He would come to Odisha and grant His darshan —an assurance devotees felt had been divinely fulfilled through this sacred event. The scale of arrangements reflected a year-long planning effort. Free breakfast and lunch prasadam were served to the vast gathering. Overnight accommodation for nearly 7,000 devotees was arranged across multiple locations in Cuttack on the night of 17 January. Sevadal members drawn from all districts worked tirelessly, embodying selfless service and ensuring the smooth conduct of every aspect of the program.

| 'Sri Sathya Sai Sruthi Vaibhavam | Beautiful Exhibition Expounding the Vedas as Quoted by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba | Jan 23, 2026 |
|
| As part of the 2nd Global Vedic Conference, a special exhibition titled Sri Sathya Sai Sruti Vaibhavam – Veda Exhibition is being organized at Satsang Hall inside the ashram, from January 23rd to 26th. The exhibition endeavored to reconnect humanity with the practical and contemporary teachings of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, drawn from the ancient and timeless wisdom of the Vedas. Rooted in the eternal wisdom of the Vedas, the exhibition highlighted Bhagwan's compassionate guidance for modern humanity. Irrespective of one's background, profession, or stage of life, Bhagwan has laid down a customized spiritual path enabling every individual to recognize and realize the divinity within. This central message was beautifully encapsulated in the exhibition theme: "Journey Forward to Sai along the Vedic Path." The exhibition unfolds through a ten-module narrative, guiding visitors along the Sai Sruti path in a clear and structured manner. The opening module highlights the contemporary challenges facing humanity, tracing their root cause to the three maladies of the mind—Mala, Vikshepa, and Avarana—and presents Bhagwan's Vedic solutions through the paths of Karma, Bhakti, and Jnana. The subsequent modules introduce the concept of Sruti and emphasise the vital role of the Guru in guiding the seeker towards divinity. The foundational principles of Vedic living, as propounded by Bhagwan, are then presented, highlighting the values to be cultivated and the tendencies to be avoided, while demonstrating how Swami's teachings are Sruti simplified, aligned with the Vedas and Upanishads. The later modules offer practical guidance for every stage of human life—from birth to death. Through examples from the Puranas and modern history, they illustrated how the practice of Bhagwan's teachings enables an individual to transcend animal instincts, cultivate human virtues, and ultimately manifest divine qualities, with clear guidance provided for the challenges unique to each phase of life. The exhibition concludes with an interactive game-cum-quiz, allowing visitors to reflect upon and reinforce their understanding of the Sai Sruti path in an engaging manner. Digital Outreach Extending its reach beyond the physical venue, the exhibition is also available online at
https://saisruthi.ssssoindia.org. The digital platform enriches the experience with audio clips, videos, key takeaways, and interactive quizzes, offered in multiple Indian languages, thereby enabling a wider spectrum of seekers to benefit from this sacred initiative.

| 2nd Global Vedic Conference | Prasanthi Declaration | Jan 23 - 25, 2026 |
|
| The third day of the 2nd Global Vedic Conference unfolded as a profound confluence of Vedic wisdom, science, education, and spiritual practice, guided by four distinguished speakers who illuminated the timeless relevance of the Vedas in contemporary life. Dr Pravir Malik opened the proceedings with a thought-provoking exploration of light as the foundation of consciousness and creation. Drawing from systems thinking and Vedic insights, he presented light as the carrier of intact information, enabling space-time, matter, and life itself, while revealing striking parallels between cosmic principles and biological structures. Focusing on value-based education, Dr BG Pitre elaborated on Sri Sathya Sai Educare, distinguishing it from conventional education. Through simple yet powerful illustrations, he highlighted that true learning emerges from within and proposed practical ways to integrate human values through environment, service, and experiential learning. Mr SS Naganand then reflected on Veda Poshana as an integral part of Bhagawan's Avataric mission. Emphasising the universal nature of the Vedas, he spoke on their scientific relevance, including ongoing research on the impact of Vedic chanting, and the breaking of social barriers in Vedic learning. Concluding the session, Mr Nimish Pandya outlined the way forward, urging seekers to move from knowledge to practice. Stressing collective chanting and grassroots participation, he envisioned the Vedas as a living force for unity, joy, and inner transformation. The day culminated with the collective affirmation of the Prasanthi Declaration, reaffirming a shared commitment to ethical living, spiritual practice, and the realisation of human unity through Vedic principles. Anchored in the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world as one family—the declaration was envisioned not as a culmination, but as a beginning for continued dialogue and collective responsibility, affirming the all-pervasive divinity that unites creation. Marking its formal adoption, the participants reverently chanted the Ano Bhadra Suktam, invoking noble thoughts to arise from all directions and guide humanity toward peaceful harmony. | |

| | Why visit Prasanthi Nilayam when Sathya Sai is omnipresent? | + | | With this in mind, let us not make a mistake of settling for less. Swami breathes and speaks to us through His Sannidhi (the consecrated space in Sai Kulwant Hall that is saturated with His Grace and presence) . In Prasanthi Nilayam. Sri Sathya Sai's advent on the land of Parthi is a planned universal event. | |
| |
| Why did He choose Puttaparthi out of all the millions of places in the world? | + | | Let us see what Swami said—"Puttaparthi is the place which will ensure that we will not have rebirth. If you stay in Prasanthi Nilayam—a sacred Dhama(that transcendental place beyond all the limitations and misery of the material world of birth and death), and you undertake any penance, any sadhana (spiritual practice), any dhyana (meditation), japa (chanting), this place will grant you that blessing of coming out of the cycle of birth and death." What a profound message from the Lord of the Universe! | |
| |
| Well, do you know what is the heart of Prasanthi Nilayam? | + | | It is Sai Kulwant Hall—the powerhouse of this holy place. | |
| |
| Do you know the significance of the green ceiling in the Sai Kulwant hall? | + | | Swami once asked a devotee, "Do you know the reason I suggested the green color? Do you remember what I told you when I gave you this ring?" He said, "Swami! You told me that this is an Emerald Ring. Emerald is for peace, and that I needed Peace!" Swami held the ring and spoke thus: "Exactly. Thousands of devotees arrive here, with many problems. They have Money problems, child problems, Job problems, Health problems, Children's education problems and likewise many many problems. I cannot go on giving Emerald rings to each and every one. What I have done? This is gold, and there is gold up there. This is emerald, and there is the emerald up in the ceiling. What I am doing is that, I am transforming the entire Kulwant Hall into an emerald Hall. Whoever is sitting inside this hall is getting the shower of Divine rays of peace, even without their knowing." Swami further told, "Bhagavan had done this for the sake of devotees; Not for the sake of Bhagavan Himself!!!" | |
| |
| Where else would the divine vibrations go when the Lord Himself walked on this piece of earth for decades? | + | | This place-Puttaparthi, where He taught humanity with instant love, is so charged, and consecrated by love. His guiding hands are even now felt in every being's life; His perennial love is building in every heart; His beautiful smile is divinizing every mechanical life; His silent whispers are ringing in every ear; His eye is on each of us on the Darshan grounds; He is present in every inch of Prasanthi Nilayam. Parthi is still heaven on earth. It is no different than it was when it carried the physical proximity of Swami. He is after all, God incarnate and that is the reason, Prasanthi Nilayam still carries its meaning even now. | |
